Topic 1 Defining “Communication” and its processes

Communication can both prevent and treat mental health issues. Discussion is highly beneficial as it removes the stigma attached to mental health issues for many generations. Breaking down the societal stereotypes about mental health illnesses by regularly talking about them can build the basis for genuine conversations and open the road to prevention. Once people come to terms with their emotions and feel comfortable enough to openly share them with other people they trust, they shall be able to cope with them more effectively. Openly talking about mental health can encourage those suffering from mental illnesses to seek help, learn how to cope, and recover more easily.
